THE MAGGIORE COMPANIES MULTI-RESIDENTIAL SPACES - DESIGNED FOR LIVING, CRAFTED WITH CARE

The Maggiore Companies’ Advantage

With over 50 years of experience in construction and real estate development, The Maggiore Companies offers clients a rare combination of deep-rooted expertise and forward-thinking strategy. We are not just builders—we are long-term partners who understand how to align development, design, and branding to create lasting value.

Our multi-residential work is guided by the same standards of quality and integrity that have defined our company for decades. Every project benefits from hands-on leadership by senior professionals, ensuring a level of precision and care that sets us apart. We are highly selective about the projects we take on, allowing us to deliver the attention, staffing, and excellence each one deserves.

As President, Matt Maggiore explains, “We pick and choose our projects so that we are able to staff them with the experienced experts that we have on staff, as opposed to just hiring someone and putting them on a job”

Navigating Market Trends

Market shifts—especially rising interest rates—are changing the landscape. Many younger professionals, accustomed to historically low rates, now face financial hurdles when seeking to buy or upgrade. The adjustment to a more typical interest rate environment (above 2.5%–3%) has created inertia in the market. People are locked into low mortgage rates and hesitant to make moves, slowing overall market activity despite ongoing demand.

We view this as an opportunity to create high-quality multi-residential offerings that meet evolving needs. These dynamics underscore the importance of delivering rental housing that feels like home—well-designed, thoughtfully built, and adaptable to changing preferences.

Proactive Planning for Future Challenges

As the industry continues to evolve, it's critical to anticipate short-term disruptions like material tariffs and supply chain volatility. We recommend contingency planning with a minimum 5% buffer to account for unforeseen issues. By planning for the unexpected, we reduce risk, minimize delays, and keep projects on track—giving clients greater peace of mind.

Matt Maggiore informs that “Whether it's our project or for an outside client, we always recommend a hefty contingency for things out of our control, things that may come up unplanned.”

Evolving with Purpose

While The Maggiore Companies has been an industry leader for over five decades, we expanded into the residential sector in the early 2000s. Our roots are in industrial development—flex buildings, office space, and warehouses made of steel and concrete. Transitioning into multi-residential brought new complexities and required a shift in materials, techniques, and systems.

Blending wood, steel, and concrete introduced challenges in areas like waterproofing, window systems, fireproofing, and sound attenuation. These early projects taught us valuable lessons about planning, precision, and assembling the right team of consultants to get it right.

“We’re going the extra mile to cover all the bases,” says Matt Maggiore, “which in turn translates to a better product for the end user.”

Built to a Higher Standard

At The Maggiore Companies, we don’t just deliver buildings—we create enduring value. Our projects are known for their quality, functionality, and attention to detail, but it’s the trust we’ve earned from clients, consultants, and communities that defines our success. As the residential market continues to evolve, we remain focused on thoughtful growth, smart design, and the kind of work that stands the test of time.
